Ashwa is the symbol of mobility, valour and strength. Medha is the symbol of supreme wisdom and intelligence. So Ashwamedha stands for the combination of valour and illumined intellect. It is aimed to awaken the dormant intellectual genius of the masses. The awakened human Medha will help reform the society and the methods of its governance and would transform this earth into a heaven. |
Features of Gayatri Ashwamedha Mahayagya
- Grand yagyashala comprising of 251 havan kundas and a grand exhibition depicting our Divine Culture
- Yagya would be conducted over 3 days, performed in true Vedic traditions by Vedic pandits from Haridwar
- Tens of thousands of people from all over the country are expected to participate and offer ahutis
- Financially supported by voluntary donations only
- Discourses by renowned spiritualists and cultural programs to highlight Indian culture
